Services relating to Court-Appointed Defense Counsel

In this service, we enter into agreements with attorneys who are to become court-appointed defense counsels or official attendants for juveniles (hereinafter collectively referred to as "court-appointed defense counsels"); appoint candidates for court-appointed defense counsels and notify to the courts; and we provide the payment of remuneration and expenses to court-appointed defense counsels . (Article 30, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Comprehensive Legal Support Act)
By law, the court-appointed counsel system is not available in civil cases.
